Creative Mathematics and Informatics (CMI) is committed to guarantee that all papers published in the journal are subject of a rigorous evaluation process to ensure selection of the highest scientific quality manuscripts which also satisfy the highest ethical standards.
Editors of CMI are committed to
- assume full responsibility of all published content in the journal
- ensure confidentiality throughout the entire peer review process
- oversee and control the revision and publication processes
- define and update journal’s editorial policy and ensure its compliance
- will provide the necessary logistics to avoid all kinds of conflict of interest
- ensure the anonymity of referees to the authors
- guide and support authors and reviewers during the submission, reviewing and publication processes, if necessary
- ensure impartial and timely peer review process for all submissions
Authors who are submitting their manuscripts to CMI should
- assure that the manuscript submitted to CMI has neither been published elsewhere nor simultaneously submitted for publication to another journal
- guarantee that their manuscript ubmitted to CMI will not be submitted to other journals while under reviewing process with CMI
- certify that they have written entirely the manuscript and that its main results are original
- certify that they did not use any AI tool in writing the manuscript
- cite all included bibliographic sources according to the AMS / MathScinet format (see )
- inform immediately the editors if any error was detected in their manuscript after the submission
- provide the editors with additional resources not freely accessible, if required by reviewers
Acting Invited Reviewers of CMI will
- guarantee confidentiality during the peer review process
- review the manuscripts professionally, objectively, impartially and timely
- inform editors of any identified conflict of interest
- notify the editor if plagiarism is detected
- Avoid distributing the manuscript to third parties for any reason, unless related to the reviewing process
Managing / Technical Editor of CMI will
- perform the similarity check for all submitted manuscripts before being taken over by the Editor-in-Chief and inform her / him when high rate of similarity or possible plagiarism is detected
- send back the manuscript to authors to be improved, when high rate of similarity is detected
- submit a report to the Editor-in-Chief, when clear sign of plagiarism is detected
Collective responsibility
All persons involved in the editorial process of CMI (editors, reviewers, authors) agree to maintain ethical standards of behavior (not plagiarism, non-defamation etc.)
