Aims and Scope
Creative Mathematics and Informatics publishes high quality original research papers and survey articles in all areas of pure and applied mathematics as well as theoretical and applied computer science and encourages interdisciplinary papers that use as a main tool mathematics and / or computer science results and techniques. Creative Mathematics and Informatics will also occasionally publish, as special issues, proceedings of international conferences, generally (co)-organized by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, North University Center at Baia Mare, or dedicated to various important scientific events and / or anniversaries.
Creative Mathematics and Informatics operates a single-blind confidential peer-review process through which author (s) names are not concealed. Editors and reviewers are requested to handle the manuscripts confidentially. Reviewers also have the right to confidentiality and their names are not revealed to authors unless they choose to sign their reviews. Reviewers should remain confidential in the Editorial System even after a manuscript receives a final decision. Any manuscript processed is normally reviewed by at least two independent experts in the respective area.
Under the current name, Creative Mathematics and Informatics, the journal is edited since 2006, succeeding the earlier names of the journal, i.e., Creative Mathematics (2003-2004) and Lucrările Seminarului de Creativitate Matematică (1992-2002), which was founded in 1991 and has had its first issue printed in 1992.
Creative Mathematics and Informatics is published in both printed (ISSN 1584 – 286X) and electronic form (ISSN 1843 – 441X).
