creative_2007_16_091_094Cancer is an important public health problem. The cost of cancer therapy is very high. Meanwhile, the prevention of some types of cancer is effective. Generally, Markov models are used to modelling chronic disease for health care (see [1], [2], [5]). This paper introduces a Markov model for cervical cancer screening programme.
